As home to one of the nation’s most popular Broadway series, the Orange County Performing Artscenter has played host to nearly every major Broadway touring production since its opening in 1986. Broadway performances take place in the architecturally stunning Segerstrom Hall, renowned for its impressive acoustical ambience, unique auditorium design and soaring arched granite facade. In addition to this 3,000 seat proscenium theater, the Performing Artscenter campus is home to the 2,000-seat Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, 500-seat Samueli Theater, 250 seat Founders Hall and the Lawrence and Kristina Dodge Education Center, which includes a multi-purpose studio performance space and the Boeing Education Lab. Centrally located in the heart of one of Southern California’s most vibrant metropolitan areas, the Performing Artscenter is conveniently close to extraordinary amenities, including award-winning restaurants and hotels and the world-famous shopping of South Coast Plaza. An impressive collection of publicly accessible art by such acclaimed artists as Richard Serra, Henry Moore, and Richard Lippold can be viewed on the Performing Artscenter’s campus and in the surrounding neighborhood.
