The Harry Potter and the Cursed Child tour has provided the following statement:
"The producers of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child San Francisco and the Curran Theater are committed to the safety and peace of mind of all audiences, cast, crew, and theatre staff, and we have been closely monitoring the ongoing coronavirus (Covid-19) situation. The San Francisco Health Officer has restricted all events to a maximum of 100 persons, so we must temporarily suspend performances of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child through April 30, 2020.
We fully understand that this is disappointing and inconvenient for ticket holders and we have a ticket exchange policy in place now for March and April performances. A decision about performances in May and beyond will be made at a later date in line with the recommendations of health officials. Ticket holders for March and April performances are being contacted now and should email firstname.lastname@example.org or contact their original point of purchase to exchange their orders.
We look forward to welcoming you back soon, where the magic continues on stage!"
It was always difficult being Harry Potter, and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children. While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son, Albus, must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: Sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a sit-down production, and San Francisco is the exclusive West Coast destination
